The selections for form one is almost complete they will be available at the Ministry's website (the link to the website is provided bellow) as soon as the process in completed, However Education CS Amina Mohamed said on Monday that the ministry was determined to ensure that Form One students report to school as early as possible. She announced that reporting dates for all Form Ones in all categories of schools is January 7, 2019 and not later than January 11, 2019.Knec chairman Prof George Magoha has said that the kcpe 2018 results will be out by end of November after which the selection for Form One slots will begin immediately to enable students report to secondary schools early January next year.

To check which school your child has been admitted to, go to the Ministry of Education website the link is provided bellow and follow the instructions given as indicated here:-
- Select the County and Sub-county you sat KCPE then key in your index number and Submit.
- Click on the Admission Letter at the bottom of the page for your copy of your admission Letter.
- Use the Printer icon to print or Download icon to download to you computer.
- Please get your primary school’s Headteacher to endorse this letter in the space provided after printing
