Mode of Application for Certificate and Diploma Courses in All Departments
An applicant is advised to follow these procedures:-

I. Necessary and required certificates (Scan and email us)

50,000/= Tsh application fee. All Payments are to be made at the
bank (KAM MEDICARE PHARMACY Bank account at CRDB – Vijana branch
DSM (Account No. 01J1005525700) or KAM COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES Bank
account at CRDB – Ubungo branch DSM (Account No.
0150435535400) ) , scan your bank slip and send through our email
address.
III. 2 recent passport size (Still picture)
IV. Download your application form online through our website keep it till your reporting day.
OR
B. Direct contact or visit the college.
i. Visit Kam college located at Kimara Korogwe (RESORT BUS STATION)
ii. Bring your 50,000/= Tsh, 3 passport size and certificates
iii. After direct communication you will be given a joining form.
OR
Individual who wish to be admitted into the program offered by public
institution should apply to through the NACTE application system called
Central Admission System CAS) available in the NACTE website.
Application to private owned institution shall be directed to
respective school. Prospective who meet the entry requirement shall be
given joining instruction to school.
Admission Requirements
A. Basic Technical Certificate Course in Clinical Medicine
Admission
to the program will be open to candidates who have a Certificate of
Secondary Education Examination (CSEE). Direct entrants to an Ordinary
Diploma Course (Clinical Officer) must have a minimum of
‘C’ credits in Biology and Chemistry, and a ‘D’ pass in Physics, English and Mathematics.
Students
joining certificate course (Clinical Assistant) must have a minimum of
‘D’ pass in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and
Mathematics
B. Ordinary Diploma Course in Clinical Medicine
Admission
to this level will be open to both pre and in service candidates with
technician certificates in clinical medicine from a recognized
institution.
The
ordinary diploma (NTA Level 6) is targeted to applicant who completed
advanced level certificate in sciences subject with at least two passes
in science subject one being biology.
OR
Applicants
with technician’s certificate (NTA level 5) qualification are
eligible for the course. However applicant with technician in clinical
medicine and dental Therapy (NTA level 5) will also be consider for
admission.
C. Basic Technical Certificate course in Medical Laboratory
Admission
to Basic Technical Certificate course in Medical Laboratory programme;
a student must have Certificate of Secondary Education Examination
(CSEE) with minimum pass of D in the following subjects; Physics,
Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English.
D. Ordinary Diploma Course in Medical Laboratory
Admission
to this level will be open to both pre and in service candidates with
certificates in medical laboratory from a recognized institution.
The
ordinary diploma (NTA Level 6) is targeted to applicant who completed
advanced level certificate in sciences subject with at least two passes
in science subject one being biology.

Applicants
with technician’s certificate (NTA level 5) qualification are
eligible for the course. However applicant with technician in clinical
medicine and dental Therapy (NTA level 5) will also be consider for
admission.
E. Basic Technical Certificate in Community Health
The
minimum requirements to the Basic Technician Certificate programme
shall be possession of at least four (4) O-level passes including
biology at D or above.
An
applicant with form IV or VI qualifications and had received informal
training in Community Health Workers, Para Social Workers, and Medical
Attendant recognized programmes; and practiced in the respective area.
Admission of such applicant into the programme will follow guidelines
and procedures for Recognition of Prior Learning prescribed by NACTE.
F. Pharmaceutical Dispensing (Basic Technical Certificate in Pharmacy, NTA Level 4)
The minimum entry qualification fo the
candidate shall be Certificate of Secondary Education Examination
(CSEE) with minimum of “D” passes in four subjects; Biology
being compulsory. “D” pass in Chemistry will be an added
advantage.
